Nowadays a purely analog world is hard to imagine. The Smartphone in particular has established itself as a technical all-rounder that has become an indispensable part of everyday life. By now the Smartphone is much more than just a helpful gadget. It has a significant impact on every human being on various levels. 

As design part of my bachelor thesis I wrote and illustrated the children’s book „Das Oniversum“. It’s an adventure story which playfully imparts basic knowledge about internet-enabled devices and how to use them properly and safely, mainly focusing on Smartphones. It addresses the usually associated dangers as well as possible risks in order to support the reader in dealing with internet-enabled devices in a responsible and reflective manner. The target group of the book is a readership from the age of 10.
